Az amerikai elnök azt is kijelentette, hogy szándékában áll engedélyt adni Ukrajnának a Patriot rakéták gyártására. „Zelenszkij többé nem panaszkodhat majd, hogy nem szállítunk nekik eleget. Gyártsák őket maguk!” – mondta Trump.
Az amerikai elnök szerint a Zelenszkijjel való találkozó befejezése után hamarosan telefonon szándékozik tárgyalni Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnökkel.
